Meet The Team….

20 years after being room mates Stacie Rimmer and Jennifer Kydd combined a vast set of education, skills, travels, careers and projects all rolled together to create PROJECT 38 design studio. The number 38 has great significance, as it was the street address for the home they shared - yes that’s right - the 38 was their street address in the first home together. Who knew years later they would be using it for inspiration! The duo has now become a trio with Jenna MacEachern, as their team continues to grow to enhance even more design service offerings.

Meet Stacie - She started her professional career in project and event management following her years at Acadia University. Her love of home design was sparked while working alongside a custom home builder designing & building the first home she and her husband Kevin shared, outside of Ottawa. She continued down the path of blending design and project management together through a second home project, this time in Halifax. A full-scale renovation / rebuild was captured as part of a local TV series and they enjoy with their 3 kids and fur baby Charlie. Once the project was complete, she found herself enrolling in professional interior design and decorating courses to establish a career and business in the design industry.

Meet Jennifer - The path for Jennifer was clearly aimed in the world of arts and theatre. She studied Theatre Arts at Acadia University and moved to Toronto in 2002 where she continued a very successful acting career in film and television. It was while living in Toronto she decided to explore her other creative side and enrolled at George Brown College to study Interior Decorating. Jennifer was taught by leading designers working in today's industry. After ten years in Toronto, the roots of the East Coast drew Jennifer, and her partner Thomas, home where they live with their 2 boys. Jennifer and Stacie teamed up once again after being back on the East Coast to open PROJECT 38 design studio Inc.

Meet Jenna – As the newest member of the PROJECT 38 design studio team, Jenna brings a fresh perspective and skill set that compliments Stacie and Jennifer’s wealth of knowledge and experience in the industry. Originally from the Ottawa area, Jenna pursued her keen interest and passion for well-crafted, thoughtful design at Ryerson University where she received a degree in Architectural Science and has a well-rounded knowledge base with a Graduate diploma in Construction Project Management. With an eye for scale, colour and texture combined with technical expertise, Jenna loves the idea of helping people by creating beautiful spaces that give that “forever home” feeling to clients and their families.  In Jenna’s spare time she and her husband Kyle chip away at updating their ‘new to them’ home top to bottom they share with their sweet puppy Chewie!
